Timothy E.
Brophy
A native of Medford, partner Tim Brophy joined the firm in 1989, after practicing law in Portland, Oregon since 1978. Over the course of his practice, Tim has developed expertise in a broad range of legal subjects, including business transactions and the formation and operation of corporations, LLCs and partnerships; real estate transactions; land use; business acquisitions and sales; employment law; timber law; and estate planning and probate.
Tim has been an active member of the Oregon State Bar since 1978. He is a past member of the Bar’s Procedure and Practice Committee, and was a contributing author of an earlier edition of the Bar’s Civil Litigation Manual. Most recently, Tim served on the Executive Committee of the Oregon State Bar’s largest section, the Business Law Section.
Community service is a high priority for Tim, and he has served on the boards of numerous civic, charitable and religious organizations. He is a past President of the Providence Community Health Foundation and Medford Rotary Club.
Tim earned his undergraduate degree from Stanford University, with honors in History, and earned his law degree from the University of Oregon. He and his wife, Ann, have two adult children. Tim enjoys travel, skiing, golf, fishing, hunting and river running. He speaks German and some Swedish.
